Wow! Where do I begin? Champ was a rescue at two years old when I got him in July 2018. We immediately signed him up for Is it obedience classes at a trainer nearby. Well that did initially help a little, but Champ was still continuously barking, pulling on my arm when I’d take him out, and honestly I never really felt comfortable with him outside in public because I never had full control over him. Finally this past summer I got up the courage to sign them up for off leash lessons, and the only question I have to this day is why did I not sign up sooner? Like literally my life has changed so much for the better.

Champ and I have never had a stronger connection and he is never happier than when he has his collar on because he knows that it’s time for him to work and boy does he work. He now has a perfect heel in a very busy neighborhood with no leash at all! I never imagined that would ever happen. The training has also helped us tremendously in areas that I never thought it would.

For example, I foster dogs and by having Champ off leash trained I can focus on bringing in a new dog without having to hold two leashes at the same time. We absolutely loved working with the trainers and would highly recommend them to anyone and we pretty much do recommend them to everyone. We cannot wait to sign up for four more lessons so that he can be therapy dog certified next year!
